You read my mind, and put it better than I did.

We have turned a corner. Once upon a time, despite the fact if you were a democrat or republican, there was a moral compass in the country, and you felt that America was righteous, and this stuff would not be tolerated.

It is being tolerated.

I do not relish the part of being a cynic, but I’m not going to sit here and make believe. The truth is evident, it’s in our face every day, there is nothing mysterious about what is happening and I don’t understand how some people still don’t see it.

I don’t give a shit about faith. Idealism is fine, between wars, realism works best during war, and currently, we are at war. At war with an ideology that is not stopping and is attacking us on all fronts. And they are doing a superb job at it.

Or haven’t you noticed? (rhetorical question)
