Gibbs just admitted that the administration found out about the AIG bonuses AFTER they had shoveled money to the company. In fact, he said he found out about it by READING NEWSPAPERS. Unfuckingbelievable.

That looks like it is a good example of the problems of rushing to do a bailout. And pressing the bailout through the congress without having anyone read it.

Pres Obama could just as well have blindfolded himself and thrown a dart at a lucky money wheel. Same effect.
