Yes, I’ve read that one. There is another good one up today with the transcript of Elliot Abrams on Fareed Zakarian GPS.

He does a pretty good job, but I dunno if he made the points needed to get through to the “other side”. I hope he did.

Problem is, Israel hasn’t yet resigned itself to the Islamist lurch of the Turkish government. The Israeli government is doing its best to maintain relations, even in a hostile environment, and because of that they can’t go on the offensive as Noah Pollak suggests.

Hm. I’m pretty sure the ship was always going to be diverted to Ashdod, no?

Although as one of the options for “loosening” the blockade that the US proposed and Israel is considering, they may do the inspection in international waters then let the ship through.
