Because after 3 years of a Democrat in the WH and Dems running the House & Senate for 8 years in a row until last year thye economy is in shambles, unemployment is out of control, and people are scared of what the future hold. It’s obvious the policies of the Democrats is an utter failure. I’m up for trying something different.

I also think this is an incredibly simplistic way of viewing the world (party X is in power, things are not going well, so I will vote for party Y regardless of their policies, of which I am ignorant), but you are entitled to it I suppose.
