And it’s main one is named after a hero of that battle; Butch O’Hare.

It’s in the nature of war to make mistakes.

Actually Butch flew off the Lexington and earned his MOH during a raid in the South Pacific (near Rabaul I think) in Feb of ‘42. I think he was stateside being touted as a hero when Midway went down in June.
