But then there are Islamophobes who come from Muslim countries and often say they had exposure to Islam their entire lives and know first-hand how evil Muslims are and how they are not to be trusted (i.e. Middle Eastern Christians, Iranian exiles, Indian Hindus, etc.).

Those are people I would at least listen to, not some fellow who bases his world view on growing up in an all-white area and listening to Fox and AM talk radio.

Careful though. We shouldn’t take the word of people like Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Bat Ye’or, or Robert Spencer at their word because of that, right?
