And I guess this is why I can’t empathize. Just saw that a guy I grew up with who’s now career military “liked” that one of the protesters was in pain after being shot with a non-lethal round. This is what I’m trying to tell to my youngest brother about how wingnuttery is. My middle brother he gets it. I think because we’re both older and my middle brother especially has see the effects of police brutality first hand.

US conservatism is inherently vicious. That’s only natural since its basis is splitting society apart into warring factions so that sociopathic plutocrats can continue to rule without even being seen to be the rulers.

People either get this or they don’t.
