That isn’t going to happen. But no-one had to get an indictment against Nixon for his approval ratings to crash and him be forced out of office. If the Trump Administration is collapsing under the weight of indictments and the Congressional GOP does nothing, look for waves of Democrats elected in 2018 and 2020.

But that’s only because the Congress was in the hands of the Democrats who were willing to push the investigation. We are living in a very troubled time where the entire GOP is supporting a traitor and will not investigate because their base worships Trump and the GOP doesn’t have any ethics or moral principles.

OTOH Maybe I am just being too pessimistic and there will be House Republicans who do the right thing — but I wouldn’t bet on it.
