If auto manufacturers are still pushing this, they’re morons. They’ll just end up getting their lunches eaten by foreign manufacturers producing similar vehicles at similar prices with better fuel efficiency.

Which foreign vehicles will likely be penalized by a “Trump tariff” to make things “fairer”.
