Old prude that I am… I don’t know why anyone would want to destroy their lungs by smoking anything.

What I wonder is, if THC is the preferred method of self-medication, why don’t people come up with a more effective, less damaging, method of delivery?

This is one area where opioids have advanced greatly. No longer do you need to go to opium dens and clog up your lungs. Popping a simple pill is all it takes.

Note that I’m not damning anyone for self-medication. Everyone has their methods of choice in how to handle the pressures of life (I tend to overeat, especially sugar and chocolate.)
