I mean I get it a little. The GOP is losing women. FWIW I wouldn’t go out of my way to be hostile to these young women simply for being Republicans but I bet they’re nowhere near as innocent as they claim in their own actions. Republicans of all ages can’t take it when they’re called out on their shit like you know Trump.

It’s sort of noted in the article, where the women they interviewed were complaining about being able to get dates because of their conservative views. (That echos the complaints of White House interns.)

The article title also notes that problem, people assuming they are white supremacists because they are conservative. Apparently the women interviewed do not see that if you align yourself with a party which promotes that, and you say “that’s my party,” then you will be seen that way. (I would have asked how they feel about Reps. Steve King or Steve Scalise.)

The one woman interviewed about the Silent Sam statue holding forth on “law and order” being the reason it needs to be put back up also seems to be unaware or disingenuous about how that might be viewed as a white supremacist position.
