IIRC, the definition of a Darwin AwardTM is an individual who has supposedly contributed to human evolution by selecting him- or herself out of the gene pool via death or sterilization by his or her own actions, and an “at-risk survivor” is someone who has narrowly evaded sterilization or death by actions which if successfully having lead to sterilization or death would’ve incurred a Darwin AwardTM.
