There’s an old term for what Bernie sells: “trickle down civil rights.” It’s the exact same argument used by “trickle down economics” supporters, only used to claim that social equality rather than economic equality is reached when people have more money. Yet in practice all you do is replace racism/sexism/bigotry/etc with classism, such that members of the same minority group will divide themselves based upon their “worth.”

As far as I’m concerned Bernie is as clueless as a Republican is about these things.
