It ain’t a Magical Balance Fairy summoning incantation, not at all. But given my long-standing anger at the corruption that so damages the city of my birth and of my current job, I simply could not resist the fat, juicy target that the phrase “Cook County death certificates” represented. Chicago’s corruption does not minimize that women died from illegal abortions.
