I love those reviews, but I suspect he’s more or less expected to negatively review almost everything. I haven’t seen his AC3 review yet.

IMHO, the game itself is okay, but the characters and the environment are nowhere near as good as AC2 and even AC:Brotherhood. Ezio Auditore was a great video game character, and understandably hard to top.

He’s expected to give snarky reviews but I do trust his opinion, sometimes you have to read between the lines. Although I have a bit of disposable cash these days I’m tired of throwing money away on crappy games. High graphics versions of Doom with crappy stories that would make Hollywood blush with embarrassment. I think I’ll hold out for the next Sim City installment. Even if it sucks I’ll still get a decent amount of gameplay out of it.
