I went and saw some rough Turquoise for you but I think It’s the wrong mine, too greenish tinted. Not that certain blue that I think you are looking for.

Thanks… I went to all three of my sources in the area this week (I have 3 days off) and I can’t find any… but as I said above, I picked up a wonderful slab of what I suspect is Parrot Wing… what’s so nice about it is that it’s full of other matrix material besides the green agate, swirls of quartz, some stuff that looks like dirty pyrite, black dentritic material… a chaos of minerals…. all mixed into the dark green parrot color. Nice and hard too, the saw blade alone on the slab give it a semi-polish…

I just cut three pieces from it with the rock saw, and cut a large piece of turquoise into three pieces plus some misc. turquoise… I’m going to grind and polish tomorrow… I get some pictures for later.
