I got an unsolicited text message saying that it was purportedly from my bank and that there was some sort of vague and ambiguous problem with my account…except they never identidied what bank it was specifically.

For shits and giggles, I called the toll-free number left behind in the message, called from a public payphone and randomly punched a bunch of numbers on the keypad when I was prompted to divulge my account number…
