re: #626 Natasha

My vision is not perfect, so I cannot fly anything military. I do know how to blow stuff up, and I know how to build an aitstrip. I want to learn how to jump out of a plane and how to zip-line out of a helicopter. I am very lucky to spend a lot of time at home. My cats surely appreciate it. Mr. Natasha got fired 2 years ago for poor performance, not fitting the standards, and making fun of my career.

Sounds like you gave him a below average FITREP. The military has taught me a ton. I’ve learned that you have to be aggressive when going after training opportunities. My guess is you’ll get a chance to do everything you want. Check into PRK surgery for your eyesight. The military is allowing folks to get it now and if it corrects your vision to 20/20, they accept that as good enough to fly. We have a bunch of former army guys in my unit. Excellent people and phenomenal pilots. A couple of them spent time in the 160th and have some great stories.
