Well, I wasnt alive during Carter’s presidency, but everything I’ve learned lends me to believe that his horrendous term was due to events from Kennedy’s assassination up til that point, plus his awful policies.

Bush tried to push for reform of Fannie and Freddie MULTIPLE times. As you know, F&F were the leading cause of the economic crash, coupled with the denial that there was a problem by a select few pieces of trash in Congress.
