Reminds me that without any kind of combustion, chemistry, refining or machinery beavers can built structures visible from space and alter the face of the planet more than any other single species save man. The idea that our physical size and numbers somehow intrinsically limits our impact capacity is simply ridiculous.

See? We knew what we were doing when we chose our (Canada’s) national mascot. :P
