Yeah, but I’m watching you ding down anyone and everyone who dares to question whether is was a good idea or not as if you were some sort of creationist whacko who didn’t like that we were talking about evolution or some sort of Paulian who didn’t like that we were questioning his politics. I hate to say it, Killgore, but you are stuck on obtuse right now.

Quite frankly, the DHS report was poorly written when you compare it to the other reports Charles linked to. That is not to say such a report might not be useful or not, but that it lacked in quality compared to the others. Was it useful? Maybe. Was it for general consumption? No. Should the offender who leaked it be subject to prosecution? Maybe. Do I question the timing of the leak? Yes. Do I question what’s in the report? No. Is it relevant to this case? Maybe, maybe not. If he’s just a lone whacko, the DHS report may not do one bit of good to ID this guy before he did harm. Lone wolves are often harder to identify as opposed to organized groups.
