Thanks. Yeah, I figured that much, but I don’t really know a lot about communism or the details of most of those guys’ actions or ideologies. I do know they were responsible for the deaths of millions though.

That’s basically it, it’s a matter of personal preference as to whose crimes they’re trying to whitewash. When it comes to actual communist ideology, there really isn’t much to it, and the differences between these “branches” of communism are superficial at best. Possibly having to do with what kinds of policies best enact the ideals of communism.
