The thing is conservatives are just as smug in their own way and libertarians definitely are. I’m not saying liberals can’t be smug but the smug liberal bs is just that. And a lot of what Tom would consider smug and hypocritical is rightfully pointing out truths that conservatives like him are uncomfortable with.

Yeah. I find lots of folks project smug on liberals when they know we’re fucking right and have nothing left. They could step back and re-evaluate their position but they double down.
