I’m really liking Booker, Duckworth, or Harris right now. If he wasn’t busy in Texas running against Cruz, I’d like Beto as a possibility too.

Beto needs some seasoning in the Senate. It’s been a very long time since someone went from the House to the White House, you have to go back to Garfield or Lincoln for that comparison.

Presidents these days tend to come from three places: the Senate; governors’ mansions; or, the Naval Observatory. With Trump being the obvious outlier.
