You ever see or have a child throw a temper tantrum in a public place, only for some bystander with no dog in the fight decide to play “good cop” by saying that if you just give the kid what he’s demanding, it’ll shut him up?

That’s what the “liberal media” is gearing up to do: argue if the DNC would just give Donny the money for his steel slats, then the shutdown will end and everybody will be happy.
