You need to test for coronavirus — and it’s not as though every hospital has the kit to perform this test. It would not be unreasonable for hospitals to attribute deaths to the flu because the symptoms are similar. For now, there are few cases and these can disappear among the millions of flu sufferers. I am skeptical that the published records across the world are being updated accurately — and we really don’t have a good grasp on mortality rate.
