Better yet, why drive your own car? Long trips will depreciate your car quickly.

Simply go to your nearest Enterprise/Hertz lot, find a vehicle that doesn’t have NY license plates, and rent that. And weekly rates are sometimes very much less expensive than daily rates and you’ll save money compared to adding 6k miles to your own car.
