Don’t feel bad, even on the coasts most coverage is devoted to the major cities (NYC, Philly, Boston, Atlanta, etc). The only reason the national media has given a fuck about Virginia Beach in the past 3 months is because the first nice weekend saw the beaches packed in defiance of the governor’s order.

There is that.

Though Virginia Beach was a shyteshow, I imagine beaches along both coasts and the Gulf were packed, cities large and small.
