He’s right, this is a fucking unbeleivable motherfucking disgrace. How the fuck can you award bonuses when you have lost 90 billion bucks last year and are on the dole for 150 billion. Don’t these people have a bloody quark of shame?

I’m guessing it depends on who got bonuses and what the performance was in their areas of responsibility.

For example, if the commercial banking division was turning a nice profit and the investments division went south with its real estate investments, should the guys running commercial banking not be given the bonuses to which they’re probably contractually entitled? And do we know that the investments division execs got bonuses?

I’m not about to say that something isn’t fishy here, but I’ll bet it’s not as simple as the hype makes it sound.
