Is the Republican Party starting to recover? Probably too much to hope for but Boehner’s “purge” and Rubio’s admission that the Earth is billions of years old are certainly hopeful signs. No, these guys have not changed their beliefs, if any. Rubio may be a lot of things, but he is not an idiot. He is an educated man and there is no chance he ever took the creationist claptrap seriously.
