There’s a Wiki article which recommends an inexpensive GPS unit especially made for geocaching — the Garmin Geomate.jr …here’s a link to the wiki site (if you haven’t seen it…if you scroll down to the “tips” section the article discusses the different GPS models available..) (Personally, I haven’t done geocaching…so can’t give any personal recommendations).
