I think m1150’s question was, do empirically observed universal constraints of human language necessarily imply the existence of innate, genetically encoded constraints upon the seemingly limitless intrinsic computational plasticity of the human mind? Or does what appears to be a causal relationship between hypertension and coronary artery disease merely reflect the morphological manifestation of phenotype in the whalefish (Cetomimidae), which appears very different from the bignose, but is in fact merely a different gender of the same species.
It was either that, or something else that was equally sensible and relevant to the current discussion, I can’t remember exactly.
