Morning all.
The thing is that even people who are naturally “anti-conspiracy theory” (like me), have come to realize there really are conspiracies. It’s a real crime and there are thousands in jail/prison for it (I imagine). And to doubt that the highest levels of law enforcement are vulnerable to conspiracies is to discount, among others, the FBI/WinterHill/Mafia fiasco. Convictions are still coming down in that one.
Kind of like Donaghy gave ammo to every “It’s fixed!” freak in your sports-viewing circle, Whitey Bulger and Zip Connoly made me willing to believe pretty much anything is possible.
