What is it about Illinois and political corruption? It’s so entrenched that it’s completely bi-partisan.

TFK is right about the “two party evil money cult”, he just has the state wrong. In Illinois, we politely refer to it as The Combine. The Combine is an alliance of Repulicans and Democrats (usually Cook County Dems) looking out for their own sons, daughters, pocketbooks, and not for the public interest. Most of the Republicans involved in The Combine are RINOs, willing to wheel and peddle their influence with the Dems.

As it stands right now, there are several members of The Combine in BHO’s administration: BHO himself, Ray LaHood, David Axelrod, Rahm Emanuel, Eric Holder, and a few others. It’s going to be a very interesting four years watching them in action as they fleece the country.
