Obama Botches Meeting with British PM

It’s amazing how we often spend the most time over that which we deem most trivial. But yeah, caught me.

I’m failing to see what? I’m just looking back about a couple of months to a President who approached foreign policy in much the same way. He accommodated people, he was friendly to them and he engaged in the same actions this community now believes is tantamount to sacrilege. The most egregious offense of this meeting was a flubbed presser. It happens. It happened during President Bush’s term, it will sure as hell happen during President Obama’s.

And I will not endeavor to figure out Obama’s motivations over this - that he’s against an old British foreign policy in Kenya, that he is showing his disdain for our alliances. I can’t know that yet. If it comes to that, I will be just as angered. I however believe in a cool-headed approach to these things. And a bit of perspective. Consistency in disapproval - I cannot be partisan in such things. Sorry.
