I call bullshit. It’s impossible to break a filibuster when the GOP is staunchly opposed to any sort of reasonable compromise. The whole episode of the debt ceiling should have demonstrated just how uncompromising they are. But of course, I’m sure you’ll blame that on a lack of leadership as well.
