Well, here it is-what I thought was a slow news day-and check in here.

I think we can all say we’re happy Scalia is off the court. It would have been better if he had resigned, but I’m not hugely surprised that he died. I wonder if how long the GOP will try to stall the confirmation of a replacement.

This is just a drive by since I need to go start cooking dinner. Be back this evening.

Sounds about right to me. I am not happy he died. I would have been glad if he just resigned since I think he acted like a brat over recent decisions he dissented on. But I ralize the man was also a father and grandfather.
