My wingnut cousin, responding to me debunking the wingnut ‘Obama just asked for a bigger pension!’ lie, and asking him if it didn’t bother him that people were trying to get him to spread lies, told me that he hated everything Obama stands for, so he believed it.

That’s what it boils down to. They hated Obama so much that everything he did was bad, and everything bad was a sign of/confirmation of how awful he was. It didn’t matter that every other President did the same thing. Obama doing it was BAD!

I missed the bigger pension request.
