Oh, yeah! The FX have been especially good depicting the alien lifeform. The high-g maneuver by the Roci was not, however, at all convincing. I was expecting at least some CG work to distort the crew’s faces, but nope.

I’m still impressed by the authors’ imagined political scene, with Earth-UN, Mars, Luna to a lesser extent, and the Belters/OPA. The motivations of the various factions are believable, as are the social and psychological effects of living in this future time. Plus, there’s an original first contact situation. Winner!

That’s one of the few really fall down moments in the FX though. I loved in the first episode where the water was shown corkscrewing when poured due to the rotation of Ceres.
