I have ZERO idea why she hangs around to be abused. Is it $$$ - Is he threatening to send her parents out of the country - why do so many people not see how absolutely HORRIBLE he is.

I’m fairly certain that she signed a post-nup agreement after the election that guarantees her a very large payout if she maintains the pretense of marriage as long as he’s President. There was lots of talk about them divorcing leading up to the election but his winning created a new need for the public optics of a stable if not blissful marriage. Their breaking up would be politically destabilizing to his administration. Still, she couldn’t stand him so stayed in New York for the first seven or eight months of 2017, until that separation became so noticeable that she relented and moved to DC.
