Why don’t they talk about wealth concentration?

How they present the story is the perfect way to present facts in isolation of any context. Percentages and dollars are used but isolated from just what you said, concentration and what that actually means.

Sure, rich folks pay more in dollars because they make that much more in dollars and pay less in percentage of that income than others who have much lower incomes.

And what the fuck does this even mean?

For 2018, households in the top 20% will have income of about $150,000 or more and 52% of total income, about the same as in 2017.

That’s a total bullshit way of presenting that data.

The WSJ really blows.
