I’ve been reminding everybody for years that bacon grease has the same balance of saturated/monounsaturated/polyunsaturated fat as the much-vaunted olive oil, but it’s a hard sell….

My grandmother lived well into her 90’s, and she was a daughter of the Depression who cooked literally everything with bacon grease. I’m a believer.
