The new “end” seems to be some nebulous date in August. Why? Because Donny wants the kids back in school and football being played by then so he can claim to have seen the country through the crisis. But mostly because he doesn’t want to have deaths going on during the RNC.

If by “End” you mean, COVID is still a thing but we are at the descending side of phase 2, then maybe that’s reasonable.

I think August might look like what IHME thought today was going to look like back in early April. Before everyone with a scorching case of weapons grade Karenitis with a side of freedumb started getting their way because science is hard and reality inconvenient.
