Also, Nikki has, over the years, had several of her own scandals and questionable financial issues. I was just going over a document I put together a few years ago with all of Nikki’s misdeeds, and this comment from a 2011 article in The Nation stood out (The Lincoln Project could have a field day with Nikki)

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they replaced Pence. Not because it would improve Trump’s reelection prospect, but because it might improve his mood for a couple of days.
