re: #28 Yeah Sure WhatEVs

Mine keeps throwing a code that it’s low on water. It’s not.

It started leaking a few months ago. We followed all the videos to check the filter, input lines, etc. It looks like there’s a problem with the door-within-a-door. I’m gonna duct tape that thing shut but I’m at a loss.

The “he calls back right away” repair man never called back. Called him twice. Maybe COVID problems.

It’s now been a month since we did laundry.

I’m trying to stay really mad because I’m gonna cry.

I know this isn’t your situation, but we lost our washer access in the back studio (a converted garage with a laundry room and full bath attached) because of the Deep Freeze and Blizzard of 2021. So we got one of these, which arrived today, since we won’t see a plumber until mid-March:

We got it today (some assembly required- took me about 20 minutes), and did a half load (2 lbs.) that included a pair of jeans, a couple of shirts and some smallclothes, all dark.

Put the detergent (we use True Earth Eco Strips- they’re great!) and 3 quarts hot tap water, rinsed with three quarts cold tap water, and boom, ready to hang dry. Hand cranked each cycle for 1 1/2 minutes. Easy Peasy.

The only downside is that there is no spin cycle. But a thorough squeeze isn’t tough. You’ll need a clothes drying rack that will fit on a porch or in the bathtub if you don’t have a working dryer.

Really, I could get used to this thing as something besides a stopgap.
