Youngkin is doing his best to set up a civil war.

Arlington County is known as the most “Northern” (‘Yankee’ in the local dialect) and liberal county in Virginia. It is also one of the wealthiest, most urbanized and best educated counties in Virginia. I suspect that his goal is to show the base that he is “owning the libs”.

And, if he can break some public institutions so his wealthy clients and political donors can privatize them into a revenue stream, that is an added bonus.
