They really are destroyed, as far as I can tell.
And as for selling guns, it’s pretty dang restrictive here in California.
I am dealing with a family members estate, and the attorneys have advised me to just turn the weapons in & have them destroyed, because the hassle factor is so huge, and the value not worth it.
And, I have all of the paprework and then some, that could be required.
