Well I’m not saying the Republicans in the Senate won’t add more pork (sorta along the lines of “If this fucker’s gonna pass I’d better get something for MY constituents) but that’s not what Sen. McCain said two days ago; and this morning on F&F Michael Steele was pretty good - talking about how there’s a transistion at the RNC - whole new team coming in to replace the old one, and that he intends to use the internet the way Obama did, but better. He seemed pretty upbeat about this “stimulus plan” not getting much if any Republican support and mentioned three congressional races he’s focused on now and sending money to NOW.
Methinks Mr. Steele is EXACTLY what the Republicans need right now.
