Thrawn was pretty good for a Star Wars character. Admiral Daala? Not so much. And I was hoping Star Wars was past the “super-weapon” trope, too.
That was another idea that made Thrawn so interesting; his opposition to super weapons. I don’t remember the exact line, but he went on this little rant about the Emperor’s hubris:
“For that one Death Star, he could have built 100,000 star destroyers.” Or some other number. I don’t recall.
