I’m not in denial. Read my post. I live here in the South. I know what it means to live here. It’s easy to lob rocks from afar. 58 million people voted for McCain. I’m pretty sure they weren’t all from here.

You are right of course.

There are a ton of racist assholes in the North - and the West is its own thing.

I honestly thought Alouette was talking about something other than the tornadoes.

Please lets be clear about that. It seems I’ve ruffled enough feathers that some would like to believe I have it in for innocent people who suffer in a disaster. I don’t of course.

However, onto the bigger issue, the red/blue lines really are eerily reminiscent of the civil war. It is not that there are no utter asses in the North. We have tons of them.

It is howerver that the racism of America that has for generations been part of the south is nowhere near as purged as we would hope.
